  I've often heard of this Bakery, and finally stopped in. I bought blueberry loaf, a meat pie, and a sausage roll. Excellent. Friendly staff too. The front screen door is sticky, needs a little attention.

  This place has changed hands a few times in the last decade with each new owner cranking the prices to where a dozen soft bun like (yet delicious) "scones" are over $6 dollars. Other reviews talk about high prices too.

  One of my favorite businesses in all of Muskoka. Jana, Bryan and their whole crew have a really strong focus on consistent, quality product. I have never had anything bad there, and it goes without saying that they make the best butter tarts in all of Ontario. No trip to Bala is complete without stopping in at Don's. I just wish I could have them year round...

  too busy and poor selection of bland baked goods. muffins are 100% for sure cake mix. game up folks and manage your staffing levels better.

  If you like paying a lot of money for flour and water that's baked and then called "scones" then you need to go here.

  Very good bakery items here - delicious and fresh. A must visit when we are at the cottage. However, there are no gluten free or allergen free items here- that would make it even better. It can get very busy but the take a number system works well.

  They are a tradition though and the people just keep on rolling in paying the prices.
